Sunday Morning

With news of bad weather coming, we decided to skip our picnic plans for today. Instead we headed down to the beach for a nice breakfast. One of our favorite places, and also a community icon, is ending in July. We want to take the opportunity to eat there as much as we can before it is too late. It is going to be turned into some type of Key West style tourist trap when the new owners take over. Lets just say that the locals are not too happy about this change!

You can also get fresh squeezed orange juice from the grow just down the road, yummy!

After our breakfast we went over to a great nature park called Robinson Preserve. Here you will find miles of miles of hiking and biking trails, along with fishing spots and canoe launches. We had a nice little stroll after all that food.



After our walk we went over to the Red Barn Flee market and a store named The Pearled Nautilus one of our favorite local shell shops. We got a bunch of beautiful, huge shells and other decorations. Lots of fun browsing in the store!

The rest of our Sunday will be spent just relaxing (well, Ken is working at the kitchen table). For the afternoon we have a nice BBQ planned. A perfect end to a perfect weekend!
