Had a nice, slow weekend. Now we finally have Winter Time, running a little behind Sweden there.

On Saturday we went out and had a nice lunch at a local BBQ place called Woody's, then we saw the new Will Ferrell movie, Megamind. Cute movie.

On Sunday we went out for breakfast (we finally got a few cold days, yay!), then we went over to the rental house to see what else we need to do. The house is now up for rent with November 15 as the earliest move-in date. I haven't taken any pictures of the inside yet, since there is still stuff everywhere from the construction, and the contractor is putting in the carpet today.

Other than that we only have a few minor things, like the wood blinds that are on order, the knobs for the kitchen cabinets and just cleaning up (we decided to hire a cleaning company for the last cleaning, we just don't have time).

Here is a link to Craigslist with the ad as it is running right now (with just the one photo). We are going to do background checks as well as credit checks on all adults that will be living in the house. So far we have had a couple of bites, but one had a drug charge form 10 years back and he and his wife had been evicted form not paying their rent 7 years ago, so that is too risky.

We will see what we can find, it will probably be more people contacting us when we get a few more photos up there.

The contractor did a really good job, I can't wait until he can start on OUR house, ha ha! I think first up for our house will be a backyard fence, that has been on our to-do list since before we even moved in. Then we have the kitchen and both bathrooms after that. We will see how long the $$$ stretches!
