Lady Bugs!

As some of you might remember, Sarah got a butterfly garden for her birthday in May, and we followed the metamorphosis from larvae, then pupae and finally butterflies!

It was a very cool experience, and we were even lucky enough to see an actual butterfly emerge.

So for Christmas we wanted something similar, and voila, we got the Lady Bug Land.

After sending in the enclosed voucher we today finally got our live larvae. They seem to like it in their new digs.

They came with enough food to last them through the entire lifecycle. They sure are fast little critters! I will update with photos when anything new happens. It will be cool seeing these fugly little things turn into lady bugs...
